You must remain in character at all times during active roleplay. If you need to speak out of character, use /ooc or wrap your message in [square brackets]. Frequent OOC interruptions that break immersion are not acceptable.
Do not force actions, outcomes, or abilities upon other players that they have no chance of countering. Example: "/me breaks free from the handcuffs in one second" without giving the officer a chance to react. Roleplay is collaborative.
Using out-of-character information to benefit your character in-game is strictly prohibited. This includes acting on information seen from streams, spectating, or out-of-character Discord conversations. Your character only knows what they were told or witnessed in-game.
Always act in a way that is realistic and makes sense for your character and the situation. This includes valuing your life, acting appropriately under stress, and not performing actions that break the immersive experience for others.
Disconnecting during an active RP scenario, police pursuit, robbery, or any form of in-progress conflict is strictly forbidden. If you have a genuine emergency, notify someone via /ooc before disconnecting.
Your character should have a believable personality and backstory. Switching character behaviour drastically mid-scenario without RP justification is considered fail RP. Each character you play should be distinctly their own person.
Provide meaningful, immersive RP scenarios for others to engage with. One-line interactions, rushing through scenarios, or treating the server as a deathmatch lobby diminishes the experience for everyone.
Scenarios involving extreme torture, sexual content, or graphic gore require explicit out-of-character consent from all involved players. If any party is uncomfortable, the scene must stop immediately. Contact staff if a player refuses.
